Fine Jewelry and Art

I was born and raised in Maine surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty. I am an artisan that has been inspired to capture that beauty in my work and translate it into original, fine art as a gift from me to you. I metalsmith gold, silver, brass and copper incorporating sea-glass, gems and stones to compose stunning Jewelry. Using Maine's nature made resources, I also create free form and framed additive sculptures to mirror the memory of the Maine experience. I know you will relish these exceptional pieces of art.
As the years have gone by and I have fine tuned my skills I have added to my repertoire Gold, stunning 200 year old Roman Glass and new techniques.

The Beginning

There is a delightful loneliness when walking on the beach and collecting sea glass and shells.

Walking on a beach is a soul cleansing experience and provides a wonderful opportunity for perspective. Everything is how it should be, nature controls the pace.

I walked the beach every day during my son’s first deployment to Afghanistan. The worry a mother feels when a child goes to war can be constant and consuming. In the solitude of the beach; I found tranquility and peace of mind. I noticed the beauty surrounding me and started to collect sea glass and shells during these salt water therapy sessions.

The sense of peace I found among the crashing of waves and vastness of water and sky was my inspiration to design these pieces of art. I hope these beautiful objects that nature has created bring you as much joy as they have to me.
